Primevère hatte ich in Nancy gesehen, mit Querkopf ein Ausflug in den botanischen Garten um die Lemoine Päonien Züchtungen zu sehen.

nach den weißen die beste rote Päonie. Auch mit Stütze fällt sie vorne rüber, kein gutes Merkmal, aber diese Farbe! Und diese Blüte! Danke Norna!  :-*

diese zwei. Oben soll Karl Rosenfield sein, unten Adolphe Rousseau. Ich seh keinen Unterschied. Ich habe überhaupt den eindruck, dass es bei den alten Lactifloras nur weiß, hellrosa, pink und weinrot gibt. Immer dieselben Farben in verschiedenen Formen. Oder auch nicht verschiedene Formen. Wie hier.

Spät und auf der sich öffnenden Knospe deutlich weinrote Streifen, die dann aber verschwinden wenn sie richtig Farbe zeigt? Dann passt es!
