Kapiert, das Substrat ist Tonerde. Das Pflanzgefäß ist für Wasserpflanzen. Im Miniteich gibt es einen Hügel aus Steinen um das Pflanzgefäß da draufzustellen.

Die Füße der Schwertlilie sind also immer unter Wasser oder in Kontakt mit Wasser und die Rhizome werden nicht geflutet.

Was machst du im Winter? Nix, du lässt das so, wie du das gerade fotografiert hast.

Bei Frost deckst du ab? Nimmst das Pflanzgefäß raus?

Im Winter mache ich gar nichts, lasse es einfach so, übrigens auch mit Iris ensata seit vielen Jahren. An der Stelle kümmerte die Iris ensata, weil dort Vögel baden und sie auf zarte Pflanzen keine Rücksicht nehmen.
