hello wim,I also never heard about this one! at first I thought you are mistaken! you might speak about viburnum x xanthocarpa which also have yellow fruits.but then I looked into my literature. the fine work "dogwoods by cappiello & shadow" can help: it really exists! ;) "... a yellow-fruited selection, has been described in the european literature since the 1950s. it originated in the netherlands."there is also a yellow fruited cornus mas called 'flava', which also sometimes is listed as 'xanthocarpa'.... and cornus florida f. xanthocarpa is a yellow-fruited form of c. florida, which often should have yellowish wood (and was already indicated by you).after I have read about it a small wish emerged within me ....... 8). I am sorry that in view of this I am not able to assist you in any way, as I'm not familiar with this particular plant. but this will change in the future, should there be a possibilty of such a purchase..... or someone will come up with a cutting. 8) I am not quite shure, that propagation with seed will be successful, because it's a "selection".
