Looking for rose cuttings

I'm not even sure if this is the right time of year to be cuttings. I would like some of the old roses from long ago. I have a list started of "heirloom" roses from a website but I'm not picky.
There is a rose bush in front of our house that refuses to die. We have tried repeatedly to kill it. Still, it grows. It blooms. The blooms are fairly simple. Have no clue what variety it is but it could be about 40-50 years old. I would be willing to send you some cuttings if you want or I could take some photos first to see if you are interested.
Please Help.
Thanks !
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Growing roses from cuttings is not as simple as you might think because roses are grafted and there is no guaranty that a cutting will come out with the same characteristics or attitudes as the mother plant. Besides, many cuttings will not survive plus rose breedings are registered and therefore protected by trademark law. So the best way to get a nice and healthy rose in your garden is simply to buy it and not exchange any cuttings.

ha, ha! quite funny, agarökonom. you, never shared a word with me for years. the presence of borders should not be misused and misunderstood by building up borders no one ever needed – but there are people deeply needing the warmth and safety of borders. i am puzzled. is feeling and loving within borders that much internalized and insuperable?
