'nosegay' ist englisch und bedeutet Sträußchen  ;)
Dürfte allerdings ziemlich veraltet sein, meinem Gefühl nach viktorianisch.

Biedermeiersträußchen, genau. Allerdings adrett ist Nosegay nur in Knospe. Die geöffneten Blüten geben sich einer Orgie mit Rosenkäfern hin.
