Von den Tulipa humilis blüht 'Little Beauty' jedes Jahr und bestockt sich gut. Alle anderen habe ich verloren.
Diese 'Little Beauty' habe ich letzten Herbst erstmalig gepflanzt und bin ganz entzückt von den Blüten. Hoffentlich erweist sie sich dann die nächsten Jahre auch im Sandboden als ausdauernd.

Auch von der T. humilis "Alba Coerulea Oculata" hatte ich letzten Herbst Zwiebeln gekauft, vorsichtshalber aber nur 3 Stück, die ich erstmal in einen Topf auf dem Balkon pflanzte, weil ich sie im alten Lehmgarten öfter verloren hatte. Und siehe da: alle drei haben geblüht.

Die hier gefällt mir eigentlich nicht.Eine plumpe,riesig,gefüllte Kreischerin,aber sie steht in einer mageren,sonst dunklen Ecke und kommt stets wieder.
