in der Pflanzung bei den roten Päonien ist dieses Dingelchen aufgegangen und hält sich stabil seit ein paar Jahren. Zwischen hohen Gräsern hockt es da. Früher war diese Pflanzung voll mit Cowichans in roten Tönen. Eine blasse Verwandte also. Vielleicht aber auch von 'Garryarde Guinevere', die in der Nachbarpflanzung eine Weile hockte.

das einzige Primula vulgaris im Wiesengarten. Seit Jahren zwischen Schwertlilien und Päonien. Sind inzwischen 4 große Tuffs. Vielleicht verteile ich da mal welche. Verschiedene Abstufungen des Magentas.

ich hatte die wegen der extrem frühen Blütezeit für Karnevalsprimeln gehalten. Bis die Engländer meinten es seien nur diese lilablassblauen echte Karnevalsprimeln der reinen Art. ;D

am oberen Ende des Gartens blühen gerade die Magnolien. Man muss jeden Tag da sein! Das Rätsel um Magnolia x loebneri 'Leonard Messel' ist gelöst, zwei mal sind starke Stämme vom Frost erwischt worden und durch Gefäßembolie abgestorben. Scheint bei der Sorte nicht selten zu sein. Dieses Jahr wieder in voller Blüte, wenn auch aus dünnen Ästchen.

Zu Füßen wollte ich einen Teppich aus rosafarben blühenden Anemone nemorosa aus den Steinerwald. Dazwischen Anemone x lipsiensis. Auf dem Bild sieh man nix davon. ;D
