Alma ist bei mir gerade aus dem Grunde wesentlich, weil sie zu dem Herbst-Gelb passt und die gleiche Farbe hat wie das Laub von Euonymus alatus. Einen Namen habe ich für das ganze auch: All that Jazz. Das Barbie Outfit von 1968 habe ich leider nicht mehr in völligem mint Zustand. Das Bild aus dem Garten habe ich dieses Jahr auch keins. Aber die Idee!Leuchtendes helles klares Gelb und kräftiges lebhaftes Pink! außerdem ist Alma die Putzfrau von Doris Day, die Rock Hudson unter den Tisch getrunken hat und die im Fahrstuhl so zusammensackte. Dann hats ja mit dem stattlichen Fahrstuhlführer geklappt. Zum Schluss.Solche Gründe fürs Gärtnern finde ich entscheidend.

Danilos Ribes war irgendwie von mir gar nicht genau registriert worden, ich suchte ja nach einem hellgelb für meine pinkfarbenen Hydrangeas. Fand ich dann heute durch Zufall im Gebüsch am Weg oberhalb der Trockenmauer.
mir ist nicht ganz klar, was für eine Johannisbeere das ist, aber ich vermute die Alpen-Johannisbeere. Macht gewaltig Ausläufer und hat eine krasse richtig gelbe Herbstfärbung.

Ripes alpinum macht aber keine Ausläufer - ich wüsste auch nicht, dass eine andere Johannisbeere das tut. Samt die sich bei Dir so extrem aus?

ziemlich alle Hydrangea serratas sind von kräftig roter, praktisch pinker Herbstfärbung. Im Gegensatz zu den übrigen Hydrangeas. Hydrangea serrata 'Autumn Fire' ist wohl eine besonders prächtige Auslese. Hydrangea serrata 'Bluebird' ist eine Kreuzung mit den Bauernhortensien, insofern erwartet man diese Herbstfärbung nicht. Auf diesem Bild:ist ganz sicher eine Bluebird im Hintergrund. Auch ziemlich rot.

auf genau die Idee bin ich auch gekommen, ich habe Lythrum nicht im Garten, aber zu der Fashion Trend kann ich mir das in Kombination mit irgendwas rosafarbenem wie Malva alcea und was grüngelben wie meinetwegen Peucedanum officinale gut vorstellen.
der Juli ist sowieso violettbetont, warum nicht bei den gefüllten Taglilien damit weiter machen!
diese Kombination vor einer Buddleja und mit Lythrum, die mache ich im Herbst!
mir ist aufgefallen, dass meine Taglilien auch diesem Farbkonzept folgen.
