hallo,does anyone of you know where there are buxus , oder double white flowered hepatica growing in the wild ?(mostly in the mountains, in france, the pyrenees and alpen)hier in belgien, er sind buxus im ardennen , and some common plants where i live (helleborus viridis, blechnum spicant, maillanthemum bifolium, polygonatum odoratum und multiflorum, paris quadrifolia).......just because, where there are many buxus growing naturally, you can find different plants, mutations, seedlings, ....vielleicht kann irisfool das ubersetzen :)liebe grussen , wim

double white flowered hepatica ...da bist du sicher nicht der einzige der die sucht . ich habe heuer gefüllte hepatica yamatutai in weiß + pink bekommen. die blattreste deuten nachmeiner meinung aber eher auf hepatica henryi hin...mal sehen, was sich nächstes frühjahr zeigen wird

ja, jemand hat mir gesagt, das du kannst double white hepatica finden im pyreneen, mit thousands , aber er weisst nicht 'where'

Nein. Je kann in de Pyreneee witte, enkele finden! Dubbelde sijn heel zeltzam en in de natuur bijnaa nit te finden. Een op 10.000, meschien.

but somewhere in the french pyrenees there is a place where all the hepaticas are double white flowered, unique!years ago , there was a man who braught allways double hepaticas from that place, but they don't know his name anymore, and they don't know the exact location...

where i live , there are even walds full of galanthus nivalis viridapice and galanthus nivalis double white (flore pleno or so)very large double white flowered, millions of plantsi have planted a few in our garden, and i allways search for different galanthus in naturei can show you a 10ha site full of galanthus 'viridapice'

In Frankreich habe ich in den Haute Cevennes wild wachsende Buchsbäume gesehen, oben auf der heißen trockenen Hochebene über Florac. Für Helleborus dürfte es dort zu trocken gewesen sein, es war fast Wüste. Silberdisteln sind mir noch aufgefallen.

Please wim, where is that place with the Galanthus Viridapice? I cannot believe it, that in the pyrenees are so many doubled flowered plants of hepaticas. Can you send any plant of these forms? I want to see them.

yes i can show that place, it's not far from me, or send a few of that plants, but i can only send plants when they are flowering, because now i can't see if i send the right plant, and where they are at this momenti certainly take pictures for in the forum , 2 monaten geduld greetings wim
