Woodwardia unigemmata mit Arisaema fargesii fand ich zusammen dann doch überraschend gelungen. Als ich den Farn pflanzte hatte ich keine Ahnung wie dieser Feuerkolben es dieses Jahr macht. Gut, oder?

Veratrum maackii var. japonicum blühte dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal. Vielleicht interessiert das Waldschrat.

Rosa Bracteata 'Mermaid' hat sich in den milden Wintern zu ihrer vollen Wuchshöhe aufgeschwungen. Geblüht hat sie auch.

sensationell fand ich die Blüte von Origanum Laevigatum 'Nymphenburg'. Sehr viel eindrucksvoller purpurn gefärbt als 'Rosenkuppel'. Ein großer Bestand im Vordergrund von Pflanzungen ist erstrebenswert. Dieses Jahr gab es genügend Niederschläge um diesem Ziel näher zu kommen. Origanum ist erstaunlich feuchtigkeitsliebend und überhaupt nicht mahdverträglich.

blaue Rutenhirse wie hier Panicum 'Cloud Nine' sind ein guter Hintergrund für verschiedenes, hier Caryopteris divaricata.
