HELIOS ist relativ klein und das Hufeisen auch, dafür zeigt es in diesem "dunklen" Winter und noch unter Glas das zweitbeste Gelb bei den Ovarien. Alle bekannten anderen wie Spindlestone, Wendy's sandersii, Ronald und auch die Dryad's sind eher zitronig ... daher ist HELIOS dem Namen alle Ehre machend, im Ansehen gerade enorm gestiegen ...;)
der neue Garten hier hat ja noch keine Galanthus elwesii und auch erst zwei Sorten. Jedes Jahr lasse ich mich verführen bei Dehner palettenweise Galanthus elwesii zu holen. Zwei Standorte eignen sich für diese trockenheitsverträglichen Schneeglöckchen.
Das kurze Rasenstück zwischen der Terrasse und der Hecke. Dort gibt es einen Bestand Galanthus nivalis, Moos und ich habe eine Schicht Buchenlaub aufgetragen.

Galanthus elwesii mit grünen Spitzen oder besonderen Formen habe ich ausgelesen und an diese Stelle gepflanzt, nahe zu den Betonsteinen.

die zweite Stelle. Vor einem Mäuerchen hatte ich schon vor Weihnachten Helleborus niger gepflanzt. Aldi hat einen ja quasi damit beworfen. Um mir selbst zu helfen markiere ich die Stellen, an denen ich Zwiebeln gepflanzt habe, mit dem hier anstehenden Rotsandsteinsand. Nebenan wird gebaut und der Aushub muss ja irgendwie weg.

die farblich schimmernden hatte ich heute nicht auf'm Schirm, dafür hab ich bei den Gelben mal verglichen, den gelb ist noch lange nicht gelb, oder geht eines schon ins orange ...?
hier trifft LOWICK auf ein von unseren "Farbwechslern" ... und der bekommt seinen Namen erst noch weg ...
und noch etwas Farbe, damit der Tag nicht ganz ins grau abtaucht ... RONALD MACKENZIE hofiert ein G plicatus Virescens. Oder aber dieses unterwandert gerade den Goldstern ... Man weiß es eben nicht so genau ...
