die Engländer schmeißen ihre Schneeglöckchen unter die Hecke, das habe ich mit ausgesuchten Sorten dieses Jahr auch getan. Vom Sofa im Wohnzimmer aus kann man sie im Winter sehen. Es wächst noch allerlei Zeug unter der Hecke. Wir haben sie jetzt fertig geschnitten. Es hat ein Jahr gedauert die sehr verwahrloste Liguster Hecke, die den Abschluss des Grundstücks bildet und die oberhalb einer großen langen mit Efeu überwachsenen Trockenmauer steht. Der Bereich zwischen Trockenmauer und Hecke war auf einen Meter Tiefe völlig zugewachsen, die Hecke war über mannshoch und wollte noch höher hinaus. Es gab diverse wertlose Gehölze vor und in der Hecke. Konifere, diese doofe Sommer-Spiere, ein Hartriegel, ein Bauern-Jasmin und ein paar Liguster der billigsten Sorte sind weg. Flankiert wird die Hecke jetzt von Lorbeerkirschen. Die am Eingang zum Haus habe ich letztes Jahr aufgeastet, die Rosa multiflora stehen gelassen. Eine ehrwürdige Pflanze mit sehr schöner Rinde an dicken Stämmen, die bizarr gebogen sind.
Um mit dem Besten anzufangen die Rosa multiflora.

außer Schneeglöckchen habe ich auch Farne unter der Hecke. Der kleinste. Polystichum setiferum 'Congestum'. Nach dem Umpflanzen ein Säugling. Quasi.

und Anemone nemorosa 'Monstrosa' habe ich von Staudenonline. Super kräftige Pflanzen mit vielen Rhizomen im Topf, die noch nach dem Pflanzen kräftig weiter wuchsen und blühten. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf nächstes Frühjahr. Wie schön ist das, dass sich Gärtner selber überraschen und beschenken können! Jedes Jahr in jedem Monat neu!

unter und vor der Hecke hat sich viel getan. Also ich hab da viel getan. Aktuell sieht es in der Schatzecke sehr gelbgrün aus.
