Geranium molle 'Album', der Weiche Storchschnabel, der sich am besten für den kleineren und gepflegteren Garten eignet. Ähnlich dem Geranium pyrenaicum, der gärtnerisch verwendet wird.
"Gärtnerisch stellt man den Pyrenäen-Storchschnabel zu den Gehölzstauden – damit werden jene Stauden, die unter lichtschattigen oder wechselschattigen Standortbedingungen gut gedeihen, zusammengefasst. Sie eignen sich daher für die Bepflanzung eines Staudenbeets, das diese Voraussetzungen bietet. Heute werden außer violett-blühenden auch weiß- und satt-purpurfarbene Sorten als Zierpflanzen angeboten."
Geranium pyrenaicum 'Album' ist bei Arends in Wuppertal Ronsdorf erhältlich.
Geranium molle liebt offene sonnige Stellen in der Wiese. Im Gegensatz zu Geranium pyrenaicum.

die Rosen hatte ich ja alle abgeschrieben, weil die Rehe wie verrückt nach denen sind. Rosa gallica 'Charles de Mills' betätigt sich jetzt als Bodendecker-Rose und kuschelt sich ins Gras. Da lassen die Rehe ihn in Ruhe. In Ungarn wachsen Rosa gallica genau in dieser Weise in Wiesen. Im natürlichen Habitat blühen sie flächendeckend.
