This value is just 0.06 °C shy of tying the record warm October set in 2015. The 10 warmest Octobers have occurred since 2003; however, the five warmest Octobers have all occurred since 2015."
"The first ten months of 2019 ranked as the second warmest January–October on record, with a combined global land and ocean surface temperature of 0.94°C above the 20th century average of 14.1 °C. This is only 0.09 °C shy of tying the record warm January–October set in 2016."
