meine purissima sind dieses jahr besonders groß, finde ich - nur vergleichbar mit sweetheart und golden oxford... :oalle drei sind mir zu groß!

die blauen Vergissmeinicht im Hintergrund bringens. Diese gelb rot gestreiften Tulpen, die glaube ich Texas heißen, oder so heißen müssten hat mein Töchterchen letztes Jahr auch alle rausgerissen und in eine türkisblaue Vaste gestopft. Toll! Im Beet. Ekel!

'Queen of the Night' steht bei mir mit einer gleichfarbigen Papageinentulpe zwischen hohen Bartiris vor einer weißen Wand. Man kann das Laub, beim ersten Blick, kaum unterscheiden. Es ist der gleiche Grünton.

Könntest du, cornishsnow, bitte mal beschreiben, warum du gerade von dieser Tulpe so fasziniert bist?Überhaupt wüsste ich manchmal gern, warum ihr euch für bestimmte Tulpen und bestimmte Tulpenkombinationen entscheidet.Hier Negrita und Princess Irene in einer bewussten Kombination auf einem dunkelrot-orangenen Beet unter einem gerade erst dunkelrot austreibenden Acer palmatum. Leider gibt das Foto nicht die lila Flammung von Princess Irene wieder, durch die die beiden Tulpensorten so gut zusammen passen.Meine Liblingstulpe, Tulipa acuminata![td][galerie pid=29718]Tulipa acuminata I[/galerie][/td][td][galerie pid=29719]Tulipa acuminata II[/galerie][/td]
