I have been growing orchids for more then 25 years and have for years been looking for Cephalanthera damasonium and mature seed from this plant. Have had great success in taking capsules-Dactylorhiza in water-orchidmix and watering in lawn - then popping up 100 of small one :) Would like to do the same With Cephalanthera damasonium and if possible llongifolia - any one that could help me in getting ripe seeds from these or adresses to People or shops that sell these plants - WOULD be VERY glad for all information - please - bitte ;)

growing Dactylorhiza from seed is quite easy and often occurs naturally in garden, no need for a cleanbench and all the other things for asymbiotic germination. but Cephalanthera is a tough nut even for very experienced grower which know a lot about germination of hardy orchids. go to user berthold's website-project about orchid-sowing + -growing (necessary to create an account). there are very experienced sowers of hardy orchids. english is no problem.
