Hallo,

hat jemand Erfahrungen mit Pennisetum macrourum?

Winterhart ist es in unseren Breiten wohl nicht, aber ich frage mich, ob per Samen gezogene Pflanzen so schnell wachsen, dass sie noch im gleichen Jahr ansehnliche Horste bilden und blühen?

in my experience first year, 50% size, and a few late flowers, second year full bloom and size
about hardiness 8a winters without any problems

I think I'll give it a try although I'm in zone 7b.
