ist doch voll ok, bis auf das "Miltitzer". Wieso sollte ein Miltitzer einen Petticoat tragen? Ein strammer Kerl mit viel Lokalstolz? In blau für die Jungs? Mit blauen Bärten? Ist das nötig?

das tröstet mich, dass bei dir auch welche am Boden liegen. Wobei ich wirklich gute Fotos von Mesmerizer habe.

Eine als diese Sorte gekaufte Pflanze steht auch irgendwo, blüht aber nicht... Jedenfalls bin ich weder fähig sie zu fotografieren, noch sie in Worte zu fassen, die Riesenblüte schwirrt mir seit heute Nachmittag die ganze Zeit im Kopf rum!

Die Züchterin Margitta Herrn stammt wohl aus dem Ortsteil Miltitz in Leipzig. Jedenfalls nennt sie auch ihre Hemerocallis so, pearl.
ja, das weiß ich, die Dame ist mit Manfred Beer befreundet und ich sah beide schon das eine oder andere Mal. Von beiden habe ich Pflanzen. Gehabt. Die Bart-Iris von Manfred Beer schätze ich sehr.

diese Idee mit dem Lokalkolorit als Präfix im Sortennamen hatten amerikanische Züchter von Taglilien. Siloam und Spacecoast. So wohlklingend und international ist Miltitz ja nicht. Ich finde diese ortsbezogenen Voranstellungen im Sortennamen deutscher Züchtungen nur kurios und damit überflüssig.
