Wenn sie keine hergibt, dann schaue ich mal wie meine aussieht. Die hat dieses Jahr nicht geblüht, wie zwei andere Ähnliche auch. Und dabei fange ich gerade an mich für Luminatas zu begeistern!

Nicht jede alte Sorte, allgemein und besonders bei großen Sortimenten, kann auf Dauer überleben und manche wurde einfach von was Besserem ersetzt. Es ist allerdings schon dürftig, was so an historischen Iris überhaupt erhältlich ist. Überall `Wabash´, die Eine oder Andere hie und da, außerdem das, was Cayeux so anbietet. Will man drüber raus, muss man teils ziemlich suchen, oft ohne Erfolg. `Pretty Pansy´ gäbe es jedenfalls auch nicht so einfach, täte ja gerne mit erhalten, aber... . Zum Trost und Trotz gehe ich mal weiter modernen Kitsch ausgucken, muss eben damit vorlieb nehmen, funzt auch ;D.
ja, schrecklich, diese großen Blüten, mit flounces and ruffles and spoons and sonzeug. Und auch noch bunt! Dann diese ganzen seltsamen Namen! ;D

;D Könnte bitte noch jemand so nett sein und etwas Negatives über Caliente schreiben? (so dass ich aufhöre, mir einzubilden die unbedingt haben zu müssen. ;) ::))

Na ja, die Iris flavescens blüht schon seit Wochen, alles in Sorten hat bzw. hätte jetzt die Hauptblüte.
Die flavescens hat hier bereits mit Pallida geblüht und gestern bei Regen und Sturm noch eine Blüte geöffnet. Ich weiß gar nicht, wo sie die Knospe hergekommen hat.
Alle anderen bis auf Dusky Challenger sind jetzt durch.
