Buds elongated, scales green. Flower, 8-9cm across,white with a reflecction of fleshpink just perceptible with a few deep red streaks; outer petals strap-like, on an average, reflexed, notched and imbricated; those following are smaller but of similar shape and like-wise imbricated and notched. The corolla is round and rose-like and sometimes irregular. C. jap. Lacinata Sacco 1830-1833 according to Schiavone, 1981, Il Giardino nell Camelie pl.32. Originated by Sacco , Milan, Italy.C.jap.
