mein japanisches Leberblümchen steht im Wintergarten. Es hat ein paar vielversprechende Augen und sieht im Augenblick so aus:Hepatica nobilis var. japonica 'Shiun'

nein, das kann ich mir nicht leisten. Es ist aus Semd für drei mal so viele Augen nur halb so viel Geld. Außerdem persönlich ausgesucht. Was überhaupt das einzig Wahre ist.

aber die Kultur der Japanischen ist nicht so ganz ergiebig. Ich übe noch. Diese Pflanze ist der Originaltopf, den ich von Thomas bekommen habe. Ich habe ihn jetzt das 3. Jahr. Demnächst, wenn der Boden wieder offen ist muss ich sie dringend mal umtopfen.

... Mir wurde heute zugetragen das es Verbindungen nach Tokyo gäbe, falls ich mal eine Pflanze ... unfair , dabei habe ich in einer alten GP die Showwinner Hepatica aus Japan gerade seufzend zur Seite gelegt

die Blüten der japanischen sind kleiner als man denkt. So zum Trost.Die Sorten der heimischen Hepatica nobilis sind viel beeindruckender. Wenn ich an meine Hepatica nobilis 'Rubra Plena' denke. Aber das ist es nicht, was Sammler herausfordert. Nein, kann man nicht sagen!

Wie gut, dass ich im Moment in Schockstarre verharre: ich habe keinen Wintergarten, um empfindliche Schätzchen zu überwintern (mein wintergartenähnliches Zimmer ist dafür zu warm) und ich werde erstmal gucken, was überlebt hat.
Bis jetzt ist es gut gegangen, sagte der Mann, als er am 13. Stockwerk vorbei fiel.

Auch meine Schätze verharren unterm Schnee. Dummerweise hatte ich letzten Frühsommer mehrere in Topfe gepflanzt, weil der Garten teilweise verändert wird und sie einen neuen Platz bekommen sollten, wozu es dann -wie so häufig- im Herbst nicht mehr kam.

sind die heimisch? Eher nicht möchte ich meinen. Meine Erfahrung mit den Hepatica transsilvanica s ist die, dass sie sehr viel nässeempfindlicher sind als die H. nobilis. Im kontinentalen Klima ihrer Heimat gibt es auch nicht so viele Frier- und Auftaucyclen pro Winter wie bei uns. Eigentlich nur einen. Ich werde meine Trassylvanicas transsilvanica dann auch mal reinholen. edit knorbs: schreibweise des artnamens korrigiert
